About our Mission of Hope

Art Gallery and gifts in Canyon Lake

History

Misiones de Esperanza was founded 10 years ago in Houston, Texas by Virginia Rush.  The non profit relocated to Canyon Lake to fulfill the needs of the underserved in that community and with greater impact. The main mission of this 501C3 non profit is to help women and children in need, to provide therapeutic and educational art lessons, and to bring an appreciation of the arts to the community with a beautiful art gallery.

Children Creating Art

Part of our mission is community outreach to help less fortunate children. By providing art lessons, the children can create something beautiful; which helps them not only with their self esteem, but gives them an opportunity to appreciate the arts. 

Hill Country views.

The Art Gallery

Free of charge to visit, our art gallery is the only Hispanic owned gallery in Canyon Lake. The featured artist is Virginia Rush. Her paintings are based upon her interpretation of the Word of God. The beauty, uniqueness, and tranquility of each piece draws people into the gallery from California to San Antonio, and most recently, Canada!
